About the Writer & Editor

Nicole Ting (she/her) is a Malaysian immigrant writer, editor, and social media specialist based in New York. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Her poems and essays have appeared in Hooligan Mag, Thought Catalog, P.S. I Love You, and more.

Her personal strengths include coming-of-age fiction and confessional poetry. She has an immense passion for people and their stories and is drawn to the small moments that are often overlooked, but are just as significant as the big ones.

She lives with her houseplants, her books, and her trusty espresso machine. You can find her writing at a local coffee shop on Saturdays.

Her debut collection Here We Named Ourselves is now available.
